Exhibition Design for the Muskegon Museum of Art – John Steuart Curry: Weathering the Storm was a fine art exhibition showcasing the tragedies and triumphs of an iconic American artist. With new research discovered about his life, the Muskegon Museum of Art curated and organized an ambitious exhibition telling the story of John Steuart Curry’s life. I had the pleasure of leading the design and vision of the exhibition space, the catalog, merchandise, and a national marketing campaign. The exhibition gained global attraction with thousands of visitors from 46 states and 22 countries.
Exhibition Design for the Muskegon Museum of Art – POW! The Art of Comics was an exhibition featuring concept art and real movie props for icoinc comics/movies, such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and more. I led the efforts to design this exhibition with the task of making it a fun and educational experience for kids. Designing a Batcave, that housed a Batmobile and two Batman costumes, was the highlight of this working on this exhibition. I also designed two photobooths, all of the text panels, layout of concept artwork, and even found a way to project the bat signal on the outside of the museum for a special event.
Giant Name Tags for Muskegon Community College – These nametags were spread across campus and around Muskegon to promote enrollment at Muskegon Community College. The focus was to create a unique marketing tactic that gave students and prospective students a sense of belonging and empowering them to pursue their dreams.
